“I have gone to this shop for years - stopped in for an oil change when it was "Steve's Auto Repair"...many years and a few vehicles ago, and continued with them with no problems. I now have a Buick Envista still under warranty but needed an oil change ASAP before going out of town. Will be going to the dealership for routine maintenance but needed the oil changed before hitting the road. Uptown got me in & out within an hour...accepting my request for a certain kind of oil recommended by the dealership. No upselling, just did the job. Highly recommend!”

“I’ve been here a couple times for my oil change and they always do a great job! They use the higher grade oil per my request and always replace the filter. Usually takes an hour and a half, and I can walk a block to my apartment while I wait. There is a shopping center two blocks away that you can go to. There are lots of restaurants walking distance. The Galleria is walking distance as well. Movie theater etc. lots to do while you wait. I highly recommend this mechanic if you’re in the area. They did send me an up to date inspection report and I was able to compare notes with my dealership multi point. Great guys! Walter Joya, is who has been assisting me.”

“Absolutely amazing service I’m an out of town visitor who discovered that my rental car tire had low pressure… I was really nervous because I had to be somewhere quickly but good fortune shined on me and I happen to pass uptown car care center I went in and without a moment he hesitation Walter looked at the car, found that there was a nail in my tire. He removed it and plugged the hole, and got me going within 10 minutes Such an incredible FRIENDLY FAST PROFESSIONAL service and I made it to the event on time. “Great experience as compared to the place on Chimney Rock. I asked for a price to replace my thermostat and they did it for the price they quoted, fast with no problems. It should be this simple most of the time. Parts were a little high, but considering the convenience of how quick they did it and communicated it, I’m okay with it.”
